The California National Day of Prayer Task Force exists to mobilize unified public & personal prayer for California.
Did you know that the National Day of Prayer Task Force is the only prayer organization in the U.S that has a federal law on the books to pray for our nation on the first Thursday of May! And, we pray daily, weekly, and throughout the year for California and our nation. It’s not just a one-day-a-year event,
but a Prayer Movement!

Sylvia has been involved with teaching, prayer, missions and evangelism in some capacity for going on four decades! She has both been sent and a part of sending many, many others to their calling across the nation!
Sylvia has a powerful testimony of coming to faith in Jesus Christ when she was 20 years old. By 21 years of age Sylvia turned her life over to the Lord and was filled with the Holy Spirit. She was called into ministry when she was in her 20s and remembers distinctly fasting and praying for 3 days and nights straight without food.
The Lord spoke to Sylvia during the fast and said “I’ve anointed your hands.” She shared this encounter with her pastor and local church and they were elated...
